| Introduction | Oh hi! My name is Elaine Toribio (Tor-ree-bee-oh). I am 25 years old. I was born and raised in Texas, now residing in Georgia with my little dapper Wauzer mix, Cooper. I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2010 with a BFA in Art and a concentration in Drawing. I love color. I love texture. I love everything there has to do with process. I love seeing the different layers unfolding in pieces. When I view art, I want to have the urge to touch it or visually embrace it with my eyes. I love all aspects of art, from the mundane to the unexpected. Art has this ability to speak to a viewer where words just are not enough. In art, there is nothing but reaction. |
