About me

Introduction I have a low tolerance for authority and bureaucracy. That's why it took me three colleges, six majors and twelve years to complete my bachelor's degree in sociology from the University of Colorado at Denver. I returned to school, earning a master’s in adult learning from Colorado State University. A passionate lifelong learner and a "Sybil" type scanner, I blog about my learning projects, including Highland neighborhood in Denver, innovation, self-employment and designing/building my new Auntie Flat. In my spare time, I watch What Not to Wear, read murder mysteries, shop online, and try to keep my 120-year-old house from falling down--at least until we knock it down.
