| Introduction | The girls history trace back all the way to when they were trainees. Supposedly a 11 member group (Following their Sunbaes, Super Junior (13) members) and initially named the Super Girls, SME(Their company) decided to change the plans and after tedious auditions and eliminations to put together the best girl group they sieved out the FINAL 9 Girls. and debut in 2007 as SoNyuhShiDae (소녀시대). The girls are now known globally as the goddesses of K-pop and an icon of South Korea. They have won many prestigious awards and music awards like the Golden Disk Awards: Disk Daesang. The girls have individually and as a group, starred in many variety shows, dramas, radioshows, CFs and sang OSTs for dramas. They are now currently holding their 2nd world tour after completing their Japan Tour. |
