| Introduction | I love looking into the past and making it relevant in the present and future.Family genealogy to be exact.Following and researching history on Forte Families in Barbados from 1680's to present day.Documenting said history and bringing families together via social media,globally and at home by social interaction,in the form of Family reunions. Family Trees are mapped out on large 8x4 bristol board sheets and shown to everyone.If present day names are missing they add them here or in a register provided.This. goes a long way in mapping the present generations, giving me opportunity to research past generations in the Barbados Archives Department and Barbados Registry Department also on line in Ancestrees. com by Linda Coates.This research on Forte Families peaked for me in 2008.Hence the name Fortes Union of Families 2008 Barbados Research Project. |
