| Introduction | I believe that we all have some measure of creativity as God says we are made in His image,The Creator. In His infinite wisdom He didn't give us all the same amount of talent or the same gifts. But, I do feel that He fully expects us to discover, develop, and share whatever talent or gift He has given us. My goal is simply to express my love for God and His creation by painting the things that surround me. I paint from life the things that I have collected or that I use every day. I'm not big on wind, bugs, or sand, so I take and use a lot of reference photos for paintings of architecture, marsh, land, and seascapes. I love to use the vibrant colors inherent to the area. My mood sometimes dictates a realistic and other times a more contemporary painting. I have been venturing into more intuitive work and would welcome your comments. When not out gathering reference material, I can be seen working in my Amelia Island studio located at: Blue Door Artists 205 1/2 Centre Street,(historic downtown) Fernandina Beach, Florida "All that I have seen teaches me to trust the Creator for all that I have not seen."
