| Introduction | In 2005 I discovered I had Hodgkins, 12 weeks of chemo followed by 4 weeks of radation I thought I was on the road to recovery. And I was, until 2008. I decided it was about time to start excercising, so I did, until I realized after walking for a mile it felt like some one jumping on my chest. Turns out I needed a stent, my arteries in my heart where damaged. Once again, I thought I was on the road to recover, later in the year, the stent failed, they put in another one, again, I thought I was on the road to recovery. Until April 2009, I woke up one morning, I felt like I was being choked. A week later I was having open heart surgery, the stent they put in last year didn't work. My arteries had been severly scarred from my radiation treatments. I decided it was time for a change, I needed my body healthy and the way to do it I feel is to become a vegetarian. I can do it, you can too! |
