| Introduction | Having had a successful career in live special effects for film and television, I am now focusing again on my other love... the fine arts. My goal is to have my work believable for the viewer to be there with me. My etchings, drawings and watercolors draw directly from my cultural and natural surroundings. I create to satisfy my own need to interact with and communicate what I experience in my environment. In the process I hope that I am not alone. I was born in 1943 in Germany and came to America in 1956. I graduated from the High School of Art and Design in New York City followed by a four year scholarship at the School of Visual Arts studying Illustration and Fine Arts. After beginning my professional career in special effects I moved upstate to the Hudson Valley, a diverse landscape I have called home for over 35 years with my family. |
