| Introduction | My home is right next to the forest, and from every window I can see trees. There are birds calling to each other every day, and possums at night. I am interested in everything. My background is chemical science and my future is social science. I love thinking and learning - I like to use facts and data to understand things, and I like to listen to understand people. I also love to read fiction and watch documentaries to escape into other worlds and situations. I want to help create a world where my son's life will be full and rewarding. I want to see that he has opportunities to do anything. I want him to have enough food to eat and water to drink. And I want to help make the same opportunities available to others. To this end, I have studied a number of sociology and environmental subjects at a deep level. It is time now for me to change direction in my career to work for social development. |
