Introduction	This is my 9th year teaching 1st grade. I love to teach students to read. I know this year will be super exciting!!! No two days will ever be the same! :) My husband, Brad, and I have been married for six years and have one child. His name is Pate and he was born on June 18, 2010.
Interests	I love to spend time reading and swimming. I like to go to University of Georgia football games.
Favorite movies	My favorite movie of all time is Gone With the Wind.
Favorite music	I like to listen to all kinds of music.
Favorite books	James Patterson is my favorite author at the moment.
