Introduction	I have been investing in stocks for 37 years from as early as I could open an account. I created this blog for my family and friends. You are welcome to view too. These are things that I have learned, so the hard way. I never gave up and have done better than my 401k and mutual accounts. I have closed all my mutual accounts (which went nowhere) and now am my own investment advisor. If you like this read and enjoy. If not move along, my view is most professionals are not out to help the modest and small investors. My view is if you are small you have several advantages. Mainly you can stay in a stock longer than the professionals will, or can. In 2008 I purchased 2 stocks that all the analysts hated, Home Depot (HD) and Pfizer (PFE) both gave me over or to close to a 4% dividend. One has stayed where I purchased it at, the other doubled. I am still getting that dividend. You can make good decisions and make money because the Hedge Funds can’t invest there at that time.
