Introduction Jennifer J. Meyer has had a lifelong interest in birds. She is a contributing columnist for the Orange County Register’s Home and Garden section. Her popular stories focus on attracting and protecting the various species of local backyard birds. Her blog is read by bird enthusiasts worldwide. Jennifer has been a volunteer for various non-profit conservation groups including the Orange County Bird of Prey Center and the Southern California Bluebird Club. Jennifer is currently working on a novel staring a bird-centric amateur sleuth and her daughter, a detective. These two strong, female characters clash as they work independently to solve a homicide. Jennifer earned a bachelor of science from Elmhurst College and a master of science from Loyola University of Chicago.
