| Introduction | Garrett is now beautiful 13 year old boy who received his second heart transplant on March 2, 2008. This came suddenly, as it was not even known he was sick until the end of February, 2008. Then in March of 2010, he became very sick again, suffering a severe rejection. He has been battling in and out of the hospital all year. As a 7 month old, Garrett received his 1st transplant on January 27, 1999, having been born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome.
