Introduction | Former professional photographer, now author, writer & broadcaster - born Wood Green, London 1949; moved to the Home Counties on Live Aid day (13 July 1985) & to open a professional photography studio in 1976 & spent 9-years regularly working in Hong Kong. In a wide and varied career, I have worked in advertising, publishing, cinema management and as a private investigator. As a writer/photographer & researcher I contributed regularly to business, consumer, lifestyle magazines and web sites on a wide range of topics. My latest books: 'Imperial Airways: The Birth of the British Airline Industry - 1914-1940' was published by Ian Allan in October 2009 & followed by a follow-up aviation book 'Over Empires & Oceans' published by The Tattered Flag Press in November 2014. Like most writers I have a first novel partially written and a social/political history of Broken Britain during the first period of the 21st century is nearing completion. I am passionatelty concerned over the future of our nation and believe the public should be given more control over their own lives. |
