Introduction	After 30 years, I suddenly found myself "retired." After the initial shock, I find I am grateful everyday for new opportunities, meeting new friends, reading books and online articles, that have and are OPENING MY EYES, and heart, and mind. Among many books, I've recently read Julian Cribb's The Coming Famine, which has given me the urgent need to educate myself, so I can help try to help find a solution. My studies have then led me to becoming Vegan, to animal rights and animal cruelty and the shocking abuses that go on in big business factory farming and the devastating effects agribusiness has on the environment.
