| Introduction | Zachary is an Associate at the architectural and planning firm of Morrison Kattman Menze, Inc. Upon receiving a Master of Architecture from Ball State University for work exploring urban sociology, he returned to northeast Indiana and has since become involved with a number of organizations and efforts focused on the future and well-being of cities and social spaces. With an extensive background in urban design and revitalization, Zachary has been tirelessly involved in educating communities and CCRC’s on the benefits of vibrant social networks through writings, public workshops, or just simply over a cup of coffee. From concepts exploring “choice theory” to “social capital,” Zachary’s work centers itself around a common mission – to empower citizens and residents to become change agents for their own environments; work whose primary focus is to motivate and inspire communities to evaluate the status quo and question the unquestioned. |
