Introduction A rocker, a roller, an out of controller, Charles is a longtime musician and writer who has sung and strummed for The Dimestore Haloes, The Cheap Cassettes, Thee Imperial Royales, Saints In Vain, Streetcar Named Disaster, and various solo projects. His music is available on CD, vinyl and MP3 from a variety of labels, websites, and on the Cheap Cassettes bandcamp page. His writing has appeared in Rockabilly Magazine, Hit List, Now Wave, Maximum Rock N 'Roll, Flipside, Sonic Iguana, Rock'n' Roll Outbreak, Rocker Webzine, and other fine publications in print and online. He published his first book, "Grievous Hits", in 2009. An obsession with vintage music, clothing, design and culture has informed much of his creative work for most of his life. After spending many years in Boston, Charles has been semi-nomadic the last few years. He has recently been based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Chicago, Ill. and Madison, WI. He currently lives in Seattle with his cats Pickle and Pizza. His favorite guitars are the Gibson LP Junior and the Fender Telecaster. His favorite beer is Bell's "Two Hearted", and all his pants are Levi's. His favorite color is black and blue.
