Introduction	Rosemary Heather is a freelance writer who has written for numerous publications internationally. A co-author of the collectively written novel, Philip (Dublin 2006), she also was the originator of www.mobydickonline.org, a website that presented Melville’s classic novel on the web, one word at a time for a period for one year. Exhibitions she has curated include, Ron Giii: Hegel’s Salt Man (Toronto/Ottawa, 2007); Serial Killers: Elements of Painting Multiplied by Six Artists (London/Toronto 2000); Eli Langer (London, 1999); and, I Beg to Differ (London, 1996). Until recently, she was the editor of the Canadian visual arts journal, C Magazine (www.cmagazine.com) (2003 – 2009); and prior to that she edited, MIX (2002-2003) a magazine of artist-run culture published in Toronto.
