| Introduction | Teacher, quilter, people person! These words describe me. My Grandma Edith was a quilter and I grew up thinking everyone had hand-made comforters and quilts on their beds. My first formal quilting class was in 1972 although I have sewn since I was a girl, making doll clothes and later, my clothes, home dec projects and quilts. After retiring from teaching elementary school, I began to work in quilt shops and teach quilting classes. Teaching, quilting and people are true joys in my life. What could be better than to spend my time combining all three! |
