| Introduction | I grew up the eldest of four children in Nashville, Tennessee where my father was a real estate entrepreneur and my mother a homemaker and artist. My childhood was one of privilege especially evident to me as I have toured the most neglected places of this world. This inspired in me a real passion to make a difference in the world. I spent the first years of my "career" serving as a pastor of a local church trying to inspire people through teaching and experience that they too should make a difference in this world. Now I work in cross-cultural and global ministries trying to engage congregations to change the world with the message of Jesus. But somewhere in this process I lost myself. The journey I am on now combines my long-standing desire to make a difference in this world with a heart need for personal love, joy and happiness. |
