| Introduction | Born in 1983 Dominican Rep. I've been in Barcelona for 5 years. I came to pursue my interests in the arts and photojournalism. Art became a priority early on in my life, music and photography being my first artistic passions. After school I stepped away from home and enrolled in a foreign exchange program. I moved to a small town near Antwerp in northern Belgium where I did another year of high school and again focused on artistic studies, while there I also picked up some Dutch, which I still speak today. In the D.R. I began my formal studies in art and attained a "Associated in Applied Sciences Degree" at Altos de Chavon, a school affiliated to what was known as Parsons in N.Y. Since then I've lived in Barcelona where I have continued my education in illustration and photography most recently attaining my postgraduates degree in photojournalism from Barcelona’s UAB. I´m currently, for lack of a better phrase: "doin' my own thing". Working out, as so many of us are, where to go from here. |
