| Introduction | Hi. I grew up in London, UK. Went to University of Newcastle (as in Brown Ale) where I studied Marine Biology. As soon as I graduated I left the UK and have been involved in various projects around the world since. These have included; scuba coral assesment surveys in Fiji; Hector's dolphin work in Akaroa, New Zealand; aerial surveys for blue whales and humpbacks along the west coast of Australia; working on whale watching boats out of Gloucester, Mass; and of course, aerial surveys in the calving grounds of north Atlantic right whales off the coast of Georgia and Florida. This is my second year back in the Bay of Fundy, and I'll be going in to my fifth season down south in the calving ground - wow, time goes quickly !
