About me

Introduction	I’m a maker at heart, and have been making (whether it’s food, crafts, art, or anything else) most of my life. There’s rarely a project or technique I won’t try. I’m also just a “tiny” bit (pun intended) obsessed with anything miniature, and I love making dollhouses and miniatures because it allows me to incorporate techniques, ideas, and experience from many different disciplines and interests. Plus they are just so stinking cute! When I’m not making I love being outdoors, reading, and traveling. I’ve been involved in various types of artistic and early childhood education for over 15 years and I love sharing ideas and techniques with children and adults alike, and helping them to discover and develop ways to express themselves creatively. I firmly believe that expressing one’s self through creativity (whether it be art, crafts, performance, music, cooking, or writing) is a vital part of personal growth and development, as well as fostering self-confidence and problem solving skills. I’m often inspired by nature, traveling, and simple moments in daily life, as well as other artists and crafters, and I hope that I can bring inspiration and joy to others through what I share.
