Introduction | I am the Founder-Chairman of the Institute for Pioneering Insightful Research Pvt. Ltd. (InsPIRE). I am an experienced economist, consultant, and former development banker. With an extensive career spanning 36 years, notably 32 years spent at the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), I hold expertise in economic and climate change policy domains. Possessing a Doctorate in Economics, I am a prolific author with contributions ranging from a book to numerous book chapters, research papers, newspaper articles, and policy briefs. My areas of expertise encompass macroeconomic policy, agricultural economics, agriculture and food exports, climate change and its implications on agriculture, banking, microfinance, financial inclusion, and human development. I have played a pivotal role as a co-editor in three notable books, including InsPIRE’s "India’s Agriculture and Food Exports: Opportunities and Challenges" (published by Bloomsbury India in 2022) and "Transition Towards Net Zero: Paving the Path Towards a Sustainable Future" (published by Bloomsbury in 2024). |
