Introduction | I have been a ham operator since 2019, and have been around electronics and radio pretty much my entire life. As a teenager I had a TV repair business and built many Heathkit projects. I finally got around to getting my ham radio ticket after thinking about it for 40 years. I passed the technician exam in July 2019, followed by the general and extra class exams in May 2020 and have been having a blast since. Today, I'm heavily involved in SOTA (Summits on the Air) and I'm President of the 285 Tech Connect Radio Club (www.na0tc.org). I'm also an active member of the ARRL, Denver Radio Club and Parker Radio Association. |
