| Introduction | Military born and raised all over. It suited me, I enjoyed seeing new places and meeting different people - I think it made me a much more tolerant and broad-minded individual. I'm pretty quiet until I feel my way around new situations, but, I'm an ex-belly dancer, so I do have a hidden "wild child." I have a 12-year old German Shepherd who is a jewel, and a best friend who has been in my life for 45 years. I lost my heart's best treasure 4 years ago to heart disease, and my only child, Vincent (38), 18 months later. So, like everyone else, I have my battle scars, and I've survived. I'm learning to fill my life with the symphony, the ballet, the theatre, the great books and music, movies, and believe it or not - BatB. The series makes you want to strive for a better life and higher ideals, and it shows the power and beauty of love. I believe that the fans of this series believe more truly and passionately about the value of the human spirit, acceptance of people's differences, that possessions are merely things, and a community like the Tunnels are ideals to strive for. |
