| Introduction | I am a wife to my wonderful husband, Robert; step-mom to Kirsty (20) and Cameron (19) and grandma to Dominic (15 months) and Jenna (on the way.) I have 5 furry babies - dogs Sparky and Dixie and cats Elmo, Skippy and Tigger. By day I am a City Planner for Clark County. It is actually a really cool and fulfilling job. I volunteer for the Las Vegas Valley Humane Society and appear on the morning news every other Monday to show our adoptable dogs. That means that we foster a different dog every two weeks. It can be quite an adventure! I have been doing crafts of one kind or another as long as I can remember. I am so lucky to have a mom that recognized my early artistic nature and got me into activities that helped me to explore it. I think I have done nearly every kind of craft there is. Right now I mostly spend my time sewing, quilting and digital scrapbooking. But I also love decorative painting, beadwork, paper crafts, crochet and cross stitch. I am also an avid cook. I look at cooking as another craft - just with food. |
