| Introduction | I am very supportive of efforts to preserve the United States in the way that our founding fathers envisioned it, as a land of freedom, personal rights, and equal opportunity. I am supportive of international organizations such as NATO and the European Union that are meant to preserve the west as a free place and a safe land of hope and opportunity. I believe that the United States needs to maintain its commitment to potential and current allies, and that it should continue to be an active force in the world. On a national level, I agree with those who advocate a strong national defense, limits on government influence and the preservation of moral values. My personal heroes include George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Ronald Reagan and Winston Churchill. |
