| Introduction | I am from Oregon, Wisconsin and have wanted to be a teacher my entire life. Teachers Sherry Jordan, Debbie Fischer, Doug Debroux and my dad, Brian Root, inspired me to pursue the wonderful career of being a classroom teacher. I earned my degree in education from UW-Milwaukee. As grateful as I will always be to have the experience of teaching in an Urban setting, I was excited to return to the district I knew and loved as a student. I have come to love the Oregon School District and Prairie View School as an educator as well! My students mean the world to me and I am excited to come to school each day to see them. Their enjoyment and success in school is very important to me. I strongly believe communication among the adults in a student’s life contribute to their success, which is why I have this blog! I sincerely hope you will use this blog to stay informed, feel connected to your child’s education and help your child respond to posts.
