| Introduction | Hey Y'all, it's me, the Belle! I started this blog because I wanted to make people laugh. I have always been told my whole life that I am a great storyteller, someone suggested to me I start a blog. At the time I brushed it off but it stuck in the back of my head. I finally bit the bullet and tried it out in 2012. I still have no earthly idea what I am doing, none. Somehow I manage to get posts up though. Awhile back I realized I could share more than my funny stories, I could also share my painful ones. I could help people feel not so alone, the response to that first story was insane! I had never seen anything like it. I knew I had hit a nerve. Unfortunately in my life there's been a lot of pain but with that pain there's been unimaginable joy. I am truly blessed by my community of followers online and my readers here. I am so grateful for all of you. Thank you! |
| Interests | writing, curating memes, drinking more Coca Cola than I should, creating the world's most perfect playlist, I used to like to go to concerts but who can afford that now, annoying my child, I mean spending quality time with my child, I love all things makeup and skincare (I am a licensed esthetician!), I love photography, sitting around shooting the shit, playing SkipBo with friends and beating the pants off of them, I danced classical ballet for 22 years of my life so I love ballet and dance, I love family time.. but we are a LOUD Scot-Irish family so it's a lot to take if you aren't used to it, I love to shop, I love to drive... like the Maren Morris song it is My Church. |
| Favorite Movies | The Notebook, (I know, I know, but I can't help myself.) Barbie, (Look that monologue delivered by America Ferrera is legend.) Cinderella, (most any version including Pretty Woman) Dirty Dancing, (nobody puts Baby in a corner) Les Miserables (the musical one with Hugh Jackman) The John Wick series (any of them will do, Keanu is just amazeballs) Anything in the Game of Thrones universe (yeah, yeah, not a movie but damn it might as well be.) Harry Potter anything, (does that need explaining) I know it doesn't look like it from this list but in general I watch action stuff... I prefer not to cry when watching a movie. |
| Favorite Music | If I start answering this, we will be here for days. My music app looks like someone with multiple personalities owns it. I think the only genres I don't own something from would be death metal and maybe reggaeton. There isn't much I won't listen to and find something I like. |
| Favorite Books | Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen is my all time favorite book. I have a leather bound edition that is very special to me. I re-read the novel at least once a year. |
