| Introduction | Though I spent my formative years in and around Dallas, Texas, my family moved to Atlanta, Georgia following my sophomore year of high school. After graduating two years later, I went on to the University of Georgia where God powerfully gripped my heart for the first time. Though I grew up in a Christian home, I had never before seen my need for the gospel. As I matured in my newfound faith, God – as he often does – slowly shifted my passions and interests away from pursuing graduate work in history towards vocational ministry. Those transformed passions led me into a two and a half year stint doing middle school youth ministry at the Vine Community Church where God not only strengthened my sense of call to local church ministry but also introduced me to my beautiful wife, Mallory. As we approach my final year at Covenant Theological Seminary, my wife and I are excited to see where God will lead us next and how we can minister in the local church together. www.facebook.com/caleb.click |

| Favorite books | My favorite book list was getting too long, so I'm limiting it (for the most part) to authors now: Martin Luther, F.F. Bruce, C.S. Lewis, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, G.K. Chesterton, John Owen, Arthur Miller, Kurt Vonnegut, Leo Tolstoy, Fyodor Dostoevsky (I beg everyone to at least read "Crime and Punishment"; phenomenal book), Mark Twain, Charles Dickens, Victor Hugo, Jane Austen (what can I say, she writes well), Albert Camus, Jean-Paul Sartre, Franz Kafka, Francis Schaeffer (especially "True Spirituality"), Roland Bainton's "Here I Stand", A.W. Tozer, Os Guinness, John Stott, J.I. Packer, Alister McGrath. (P.S. Just because I list them doesn't necessarily mean I agree with them.) |
