Introduction Maggie Tello Case is the woman behind the buttons of Button, Button, Who! Growing up in Riverside, California, she was taught to sew and embroider by her mother, a talented seamstress, who used to sew matching outfits for her and her Cabbage Patch dolls. She owes her love of buttons to her as well. “When I was little, my mom had this old box of buttons and I would spend hours playing with them, reorganizing them by size, shape and color, and making things with them.” She credits her family for her love of all things vintage, and her creative leanings. Her grandmother, her uncle, and aunt are all accomplished painters who she blames for her love of art. Maggie is an admitted thrift shopaholic and scours the swap meets, rummage sales and yard sales as well as local thrift stores for vintage textiles, buttons, clothing and trims which she then uses as inspiration and incorporates into her unique and quirky pieces which seem to have their own personalities and senses of humor. Each creation is one of a kind and made with heart!
