Location	A 1924 house next to Garden of the Gods, CO, United States
Introduction	About us, the remodelers: I work in the defense computer field. My wife volunteers herself and me for Boy Scouts. We're just regular folks who probably paid too much for a house that needs too much, but here's our story on what is working and what isn't in this whole house remodel. We've been working on this house for a whole lot longer than anyone would think reasonable, and we're willing to try anything, even starting a blog if it helps us finish. About the house: I thought it had kind of a craftsman look to it, but when an architect looked at it she said "hip-roofed american colonial revival...or you could just call it a mountain cottage in the foothills."
