| Favorite Movies | My favorite IMS movie would have to be Winning with Paul Newman. Paul would have been as legendary of a racer as he was a movie star had he dedicated full time to racing. As it is he had a career that would be envious of many racers that did make the full time commitment. They got it all right in the movie including having Pauls character qualify in the middle of the pack even though he had the fastest time due to being a second weekend qualifier. Great scene with him walking in on his wife Joanne Woodward stepping out with Pauls racing team mate played by Robert Wagner. This scene was filmed in room 212 of the Speedway Motel, which met its demise earlier this year. |
