| Introduction | Buti was born in Newcastle, KwaZulu-Natal, and raised in Perdekop, Mpumalanga. He used to dream of being a professional mechanic and electrician as he grew up with his siblings, sisters, and cousins. He is now residing in Johannesburg, where he is pursuing his Diploma in Jewellery Design and Manufacture in his third year at the University of Johannesburg. Buti attended Vukuzenzele Combined School for his primary and secondary education. Throughout his education, Buti was shy, ambitious, and exciting. It was a long time ago when the idea was alive in the family thanks to his late uncle Oupa Mabaso, who used to make jewelry accessories at home for personal use and commercial purposes because it was financially beneficial to the family. Mr. Mabaso fostered Buti when he was 14 years old, not only teaching him how to produce jewelry, but also the importance of jewelry in the country's economy.
