| Einführung | I spent my working career in social services trying to make things better for others and now, in retirement, that is still my major concern. I am appalled at our failure to effectively address environmental issues and the existential threat to the planet that climate change is. My goal with this blog is to do whatever small bit I can to highlight that failure. |

| Lieblingsfilme | Impossible to name one, but I do especially enjoy old movies like "The Day the Earth Stood Still", "Singin' in the Rain", "Casablanca", "The Wizard of Oz". And the movies based on "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy are also particular favorites. |
| Lieblingsmusik | My interests are eclectic and my favorites depend on my mood of the moment, although I listen mostly to classical music. |
| Lieblingsbücher | Whatever I am reading at the moment! But if pressed, I would have to say that my all-time favorite is "The Hobbit." |
