Introduction	When I was three years old I told my grandma “When I grow up I want to be a famer!” Since then I have not only learned to say my r’s but have become very involved in the growing agriculture industry. I have grown up on my small family farm and have been raised on good old-fashion country values, corn and grandmas fried chicken. We raise purebred Red Angus cattle and growing up in the corn capital of Canada, how could we not raise corn? I am still currently finishing high school and am looking forward to a career in the promising agriculture industry. I am on the Alberta Jr Angus Board, am in 4-H, play the trumpet in our school band (don’t laugh) and spend my free time getting cattle ready for the next show. I may not come off as an average 16 year old but I still enjoy being with my friends, watching mushy movies like Titanic and the Notebook and, have a mild addiction to shiny jewellery.
