Favorite Movies	Many of my favorite movies are those filmed by Balboa Films, an early Long Beach movie studio, which you can find out more about in the book "Balboa Films, " in which I was a contributor. Many of the studio's pictures were filmed in Seal Beach and Long Beach.
Favorite Books	Being a librarian I'm exposed to many books, but my favorite genre is historic non-fiction. This and researching newspapers gives me insight into many of the topics I write about. My latest foray has been researching information about the lives of many who died in Long Beach. This has led to researching the Civil War, World War I, early aviation, Pacific Electric railroad accidents, and much more to gather data for my latest book "Died in Long Beach: Cemetery Tales."
