| Introduction | I'm ashamed of being a car nut. I've tried to explain it once and that'll have to do. Back in the day I was a little prepubescant numpty discovering the internet. Nowadays I'm a slightly older numpty and ever since those early exploratory journeys through the web, my obsession with the automobile has been quietly building. And yet I don't own a car, most of my driving has been done in a VW people carrier and my most interesting drive has been in a Mercedes saloon.
