Introduction	I am a fibreaholic from way back when. For over 20 years I worked creating one of a kind vestments. Cutting and sewing very expensive silk yardage. When I retired and received a spinning wheel from my husband the first fibre I choose to spin was silk. Pursuing my love for silk. Causing one of my very sweet girl friends to remark. You seem to be going backward down the silk road. Not content with the wheel I now have a love affair with the hand spindle too. Its so easy to sit and spin next to my husband whilst he watches TV or does crossword puzzles. So I do indeed appear as I get older to begoing backward in many regards.
