Why does the taste of pennies remind you of losing a tooth?

because losing a tooth means having a lot of blood in your mouth, which you taste/swallow. blood has iron in it and sometimes tastes metallic. pennies are made of copper and have a bunch of disgusting stuff on them so the combination of those two make it taste like blood (iron).
