Location Mwandi, Zambia
Introduction Keith was brought up in Grangemouth and Greenock and Ida in manses in Laggan, Port Glasgow and in North East Fife. Keith graduated from Edinburgh University and did teacher training while Ida trained at the Royal Infirmary School of Nursing. They married in 1978 and moved to Lossiemouth where they worked until they left for Mutare, Zimbabwe in 1990 to teach and nurse there for three years. From 1994-2004 Keith served as Deputy Head at Chengelo School in Mkushi and Ida was the School Nurse. In 2004 they were called to Mwandi UCZ Mission in Western Province, Zambia to support the work in the Mission Hospital and School. Ida is the Aids Relief Coordinator and Keith is helping to expand the UCZ Secondary School. They have five children (three grown-up) including an adopted son in Zambia, Mubita, whom they have cared for since he was two weeks old. They are Mission Partners with the Church of Scotland in association with the Methodist Church.
