About me

GenderFemale
OccupationMedical Asst./Phlebotomist

IntroductionI've been married to the same man for almost 32 years now. He's my rock! We have 4 wonderful sons from 11 to 29 years. We have 2 dogs, Cockapoos, white-male, black-female. (Not related, they had puppies already, but we're done with that)! We also have 2 turtles. We are very family orientated, my oldest son has a house a few blocks away and is a carpenter like my husband. My parents live around the corner for easy care, and we have other family close by. We've always been active in our kids sports and activities. I've been a Cub Master, Den Leader, PTA officer, town recreation board, Youth club duties, ran snack bar, etc. I also started a CPR program 10 years ago, through the Home & School where we certify all the 8th graders in 2 days. I have just spent the last year fighting and beating cancer. And if it rears it's ugly head again, I will beat it again! I'm a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist and would much prefer being on that side of patient care! I need to return to the work force shortly, and am looking forward to it.

When you've got water stuck in your ear, how do you get it out?

Hop up and down on one leg But just read a new way. Fill a tube sock with a cup of coarse salt. Microwave 2 min., when warm, lay ear on sock for 10 min. Heat reduces swelling and salt draws out water.
