Introduction	she is a library science major, a bibliophile, and an occasional writer. she loves the beach but cannot swim to save her life. miao is also an obsessive hand held console gamer. in her spare time, she enjoys watching movies and tv series with her fiance. science fiction, high fantasy and young adult fiction are high on her list of prioritized literary and film genres. movie adaptations of beloved comic book series or cartoons may agitate her unnecessarily. it's no secret that miao is easily flustered and can be scatterbrained at times, but there are minute parts of her existence that are always highly organized; her digital music collection and the contents of her handbag are examples. this penchant for organization and memorization comes in handy when she plays scrabble, upwords and word factory. finally, miao likes quiet moments alone and may often spend hours lost in a book or a game, even with company around. forgive her; she's not being snobby or antisocial, she just needs more personal space and alone time than most people.
