| Introduction | How does one describe himself without coming off as a self-absorbed douchebag? Well, I'm not sure but I'm willing to give it a try. I am many things, a music enthusiast, history buff, sports fanatic, comic book fan and political observer, amongst other things. I enjoy writing down my thoughts and sharing them with my friends, especially when I find something that irks or inspires me in the news. I am told, at best I am cynical, at worst, bitter, but I prefer to think of myself as a cynical optimist (and yes, I know that is an oxymoron.). I will let you decide for yourself what you think, but for the most part every post will be very much tongue in cheek. I have been (or at least considered myself) a few things in my thirty plus years. Musician/Artist hopeful, accounting clerk, software support technician, technical writer, dart team captain, slo-pitch player, scorekeeper and honorary team member, and have even had he honor of working on a film which somehow landed me with my own entry on imdb.com. And depending on whom you talk to I have been a friend, lover or a-hole, sometimes even all three at once. |
