Introduction	Henry is starting his 23rd season as Golf Course Superintendent at the Winnetka Golf Club. He is one of the most passionate employees on staff at the Winnetka Park District. Just listen to him talk about grass, drainage, the weather or Bluebirds and you can’t help but get swept away by his infectious enthusiasm. The Winnetka Golf Club is his pride and joy, which is evident in the way he approaches every aspect of his job. Henry loves coming to work and views every day as a new challenge. From his energy, to his vision, to his knowledge of his job, the Winnetka Park District is fortunate to have an employee like Henry. Prior to his employment with the Winnetka Park District, Henry assisted Roger Stewart for the 'grow-in' at Stonebridge Country Club (a Tom Fazio Design). Prior to that he learned his craft at the Ridgemoor Country Club (thank you Peter Hahn). He learned many things, but the most important was proper irrigation practices. A quote from Peter stays with him today . . . “Irrigation is critical, but drainage is imperative”.
