| Introduction | I am a mother to eight very individual, much loved and precious sons including an unexpected surprise blessing who arrived in December 2009 to complete our family. I loved pregnancy, having babies and the chaos of being a mum to many. Once upon a time I was a very neat organised woman until I became a Mum. I have been into creating things since I was a child and have tried out many crafts along the way. I loved sewing and for many years made many of my children's clothes (even two successful attempts at smocking). I knitted my first project as a child and then finally learned to knit in 2009 while pregnant with my last. In 2014 I made my first attempt at quilting and hope to make many more. I began scrapbooking over nineteen years ago and felt like I had discovered something I had been looking for my whole life, it was ME! Although I hardly knew him, my paternal grandfather was a photographer and I suppose that's where I inherited my desire to capture life's moments. I have many photos and little time so my scrapping has been slow but I get there one page at a time. In 2015 I finally began my journey with Project Life in the hope of simplifying the way I scrap. |
