| Introduction | I am a Georgia Native. I grew up in Savannah, and still love to visit that city. I learn something new every time I go back. I really love living in Colorado. I have been in IT over 17 years and still am stupefied by IT folks with no prior IT time who can make big choices and F up companies without any idea as to what they are doing. I am an IBM iSeries Zeolot. This is not a bad thing. I understand just about every other platform in the data center, more so than most people in IT. I also know why i love that platform and I can debate you any day why it is a far better platform than Sun Solaris and the evil Windows. I am a huge Mac user, thanks Tyler! I use and learn more about Linux and FreeBSD everyday. I would like to think I am one of those IT guys who "Gets It." Enjoy the blog. I am trying my hand at coding and am starting to like it. I am also back in school working on my degree in CIS. I have an opinion and by god I am going to spew it like vomit. |
