| Introduction | As Program and Development Director at the Volunteer Center I spend a lot of my time doing Volunteer Management and Board Development training. I really enjoy working with so many different nonprofit organizations and feel a lot of satisfaction when my work helps them to reach their goals. I also do outreach to promote volunteerism to the community and to raise awareness of the need for financial support from our donors. Like all nonprofit staff I wear a lot of hats, yet that is one of the things I enjoy most about my job. The variety is fun and allows us to learn new things and use our creative talents regularly. |
