| Introduction | I was a reporter and photographer with community newspaper the North Edinburgh News until March this year. I am currently 'considering my options', 'spending more time with my family', etc. etc. In my spare time I am an actor, quizmaster and all-round entertainer (at least I think I am!). My long-suffering wife is Caroline - she is not a great supporter of this blog idea and has called me a 'self-indulgent t*sser'- who manages a local advice centre, and I have three grown-up (well, relatively) children - Brian, Gail Knutt and Kevin. My closest confidante was my cat Paddy, who was generally loveable but prone to severe mood swings. Sadly he is no longer with us but at least I have the scars to remember him by ... |
