About me

Introduction This is my personal blog and perspective that describes my collaboration with the Cochrane Schizophrenia Group at the University of Nottingham. I am working as a Senior Peer Researcher at the McPin Foundation (and was formerly a Service User Expert at Rethink Mental Illness). The aim of this blog is to communicate the research of the Cochrane Schizophrenia Group at the University of Nottingham in a way that is helpful to people with mental health issues, their carers and professionals working in health and social care. The blog describes the research and best evidence in an easy to understand way (a plain language summary or PLS). There is also my own service user perspective (SUPER) to add relevance and lived experience to the summaries. We welcome your feedback, thoughts and personal stories of coping with mental health problems. This is a personal blog and does not necessarily represent the views of the McPin Foundation or the Cochrane Schizophrenia Group. McPin Foundation: http://mcpin.org/
